BEEF BARBECUE 
2 lbs. beef, thick cut, bottom round
1 can tomato soup
1 c. water
1/4 c. vinegar
Scant 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. sugar
1 onion, cut fine
Clove of garlic
Salt and pepper to taste

Remove fat from beef and cut in cubes. Combine with remainder of ingredients in heavy saucepan and simmer 2 or more hours until meat cooks up and little juice is left. Stir occasionally. 12 servings.
