RAISIN BREAD 
2 c. raisins
2 c. water
2 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
Dash of salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 c. chopped nuts

Boil raisins in water for 2 minutes; then add baking soda. Beat together remaining ingredients. Stir both mixtures together. Use either cans or 3 small bread pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
