PEAR CRANBERRY CRISP 
4 firm ripe pears, peeled and sliced (2 1/2 lbs.)
12 oz. cranberries
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. rolled oats
2/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. butter (cut into 1/2 inch pieces)
1/2 c. flour
Pinch of salt

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Toss pears and cranberries, sugar and 1/4 tsp. cinnamon in 10 inch round baking dish until well blended. (I used a large glass pan.)

Combine oats, brown sugar, butter, flour, salt and 1/4 tsp. cinnamon into large bowl and blend with fingertips until mixture resembles coarse meal. Sprinkle over first mixture and pat down lightly. Bake 45 minutes. Cool 1 hour. Serve with ice cream.
