STUFFED BREAD | |
1 loaf of unsliced Italian or French bread 1 can of cheddar cheese soup 1 1/2 to 2 lbs. ground beef 4 slices of cheese Onion & green pepper Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Crumble and cook ground beef with onion and green pepper (as much as you like) until good and brown. Slice top of loaf off and get all the bread out of the inside, leaving a thin shell. Crumble bread pieces. After meat mixture is cooked, drain grease. Add cheddar cheese soup to meat, then mix in bread pieces. Mix well! Put mixture in bread shell, topping it with the cheese slices. Put top of loaf on bread and wrap in aluminum foil. Put in oven for 20 to 25 minutes. (May also be used as a main dish or sliced as an appetizer.) |
