MINNESOTA BUTTER BALLS 
1 c. butter (do not substitute)
1/4 c. confectioners' sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. water
2 c. flour
1 c. chopped pecans

Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla and water. Add flour and mix well, then add pecans.

Form small balls.

Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in slow oven at 300°F for 20 minutes or until delicately browned. Take out and roll in confectioners' sugar.

Makes about 2-1/2 dozen.
