BLOCK PARTY BEEF AND BEANS | |
2 lb. ground chuck 2 c. chopped onion 1 c. chopped celery 1 can (10 1/2 oz.) can tomato soup 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste 1/2 c. catsup 1/2 c. brown sugar 2 tbsp. prepared mustard 1 (15 oz.) can wax beans 1 (1 lb.) can cut green beans 1 (17 oz.) can lima beans 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can chili beans 1 (17 oz.) can kidney beans 1 (1 lb.) pork and beans In fry pan brown meat and break up lumps. Spoon off fat. Add onions and celery. Cook until tender. Stir in soup, tomato paste, and catsup. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes. Turn into 3 quart casserole. Drain green beans, lima and wax beans. Add to above. Do not drain the remaining beans. Stir in brown sugar and mustard. Bake uncovered in 325 degree oven for 1 hour or simmer on stove top. 12 to 15 servings |
