DEEP FRY FISH BATTER
1 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. milk
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt (I don't use this much)
Fish fillets, thawed (flounder or perch)

Great for shrimp also. Combine first 6 ingredients, beat until smooth. Dip fish in batter. Fry in deep fat until golden brown, turning once. If other types of fish are used, omit the salt.

This is a great batter it reminds me of the chicken fingers we get from a Asian restaurant in town. Very yummy, I made mine with tilapia. It was awesome!

Excellent Batter. Used it to deep fry some basa. Coated and stuck to the fish nicely.

This batter was just delicious, light and fluffy with a crunch. Made cod goujons this afternoon and they were beautiful, my children loved them. The best batter I have tried to date!

Very quick to make and easy to add anything that you might want for a slightly different flavor. Added a little cajun seasoning and some black pepper.

Used this tonight with fresh caught fish... it was wonderful although I could have used more salt... Like, flaky and doesn't use any strange ingredients...

PERFECT! The batter is light and crunchy. It turned out absolutely perfect. I have since used the same batter when making chicken tenders. Just as good!
