GOLDEN SHRIMP CASSEROLE 
8 slices day old bread, buttered & cubed
2 c. canned shrimp or 12 oz. pkg. cooked frozen shrimp
3 oz. can mushroom pieces, drained
1/2 lb. white American cheese, grated
3 eggs
2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
Dash each of pepper & paprika

Place half of bread cubes in a buttered 2 quart oblong Pyrex baking dish. Place shrimp, mushrooms and half the cheese on top. Cover with remaining bread and sprinkle with the rest of cheese.

Beat together the eggs and seasonings. Add milk and pour over all. Cover and refrigerate several hours before baking. Remove cover and bake in preheated 325 degree oven for about 45 minutes.
