POUND CAKE 
2 sticks real butter
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. flour
1/2 pt. whipping cream
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring (lemon or almond optional)

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Add flour and whipping cream. Add flavoring. Put in tube pan. Place in cold oven. Bake 300 degrees for 90 minutes.

ICING:

1 stick butter (do not substitute)
1 box confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Enough evaporated milk to make desired consistency
