6-8 apples, peeled & sliced, cored
1 tsp. + 1 c. sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 c. flour
1 egg, beaten
3/4 c. butter, melted

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9" pie plate. Fill pie plate 3/4 full of apples and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon cinnamon and 1 tablespoon sugar over top of apples. Stir together remaining sugar and flour. Add egg and butter, stir until blended. Mixture will be thick! Spread evenly over top of apples and bake for 30 minutes then increase temperature to 400 degrees for 15 more minutes. Serve warm or cold.
