LAYERED CASSEROLE 
3 raw potatoes, sliced thin
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1 can cream of celery soup
1/2 c. milk
Salt (to taste)
Pepper (to taste)
1 lg. carrot, grated
1 lb. ground beef, browned & drained

Butter a large casserole dish. Layer ingredients in order given, ending with ground beef. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake at 350 degrees about 1 1/2 hours, until potatoes are fork tender. Serves 4.
