LAYERED CASSEROLE 
On bottom of casserole place a layer of bacon strips (uncooked). In the following order place a layer of each ingredients, repeating until casserole is one inch from top.

Ground beef (uncooked)
Onions (sliced)
Carrots (sliced thin)
Potatoes (sliced)

Salt and pepper each layer. After casserole is filled, pour 1 can of cream of mushroom soup over all. Bake covered at 375 degrees until vegetables are tender (about 1 hour).

This recipe is adaptable to microwave and requires approximately 15 to 20 minutes cooking time depending on size of casserole. Allow to stand for 10 minutes before serving.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
