1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. smooth or crunchy peanut butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
48 kisses

Beat all ingredients except flour and soda. When light and fluffy add flour and soda. Shape into 48 balls (1 round teaspoon). Roll in granulated sugar and bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until light golden. Immediately top each cookie with kiss and press down firmly.
