Stick and a half of butter
1 tsp. baking powder
1 2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 egg
2 tsp. vanilla
1 jar applesauce
Chopped nuts
1 sliced apple

Mix butter, egg, baking powder, sugar, flour and vanilla. Press into greased pan on bottom and little way up sides of pan. Put applesauce on top. Save some dough to mix with sugar to make crumb topping. Place chopped nuts and sliced apples on top and bake 1/2 hour or until brown.
