FAVORITE APPLE PIE 
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. salt
5-6 c. sliced apples (about 2 lb.)
1/4 c. cream
3 tbsp. butter

Mix granulated sugar and brown sugar, flour, spices and salt. Lightly stir into apple slices. Pour into pastry lined pie pan. Pour cream into center, dot with butter. Add top crust. Bake at 400 degrees for about 1 hour or until golden brown and juices bubble up. Cool at least 1 hour before slicing.
