MARSHMALLOW MERINGUE 
1/4 lb. marshmallows
1 tsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 egg whites
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. sugar

Combine marshmallows and milk, heat slowly, folding over and over until marshmallows are partly melted. Remove from heat, add vanilla extract. Continue folding until smooth. Beat egg whites until stiff, add salt, sugar beating constantly. Carefully fold into marshmallow mixture. Place on rice or pudding. Place in broiler until brown.
