EDNA'S "CREOLE CABBAGE" 
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. green pepper, chopped
1 c. onions, chopped
1 c. carrots, sliced
1 c. tomatoes, diced (fresh)
1 qt. shredded cabbage
1 1/2 tsp. salt or to taste
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. white pepper

Melt butter in skillet, add remaining ingredients. Cover, cook for 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

NOTE: Do not over cook. Makes about 8 servings.
