TUTTI FRUTTI COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
3/4 c. Brer Rabbit molasses
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. seedless raisins
1 c. chopped walnuts
1/3 c. chopped candied fruit

Slowly melt shortening; cool. Add molasses, sugar and egg; beat until well blended. Sift together flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add to molasses mixture; mix well. Finely chop raisins, nuts and fruit. Fold into batter. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls on greased baking sheets. Bake at 375 degrees 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 3 dozen cookies.
