LAYERED LETTUCE SALAD | |
1/2 head lettuce 1/2 c. onion 1/2 c. celery 1/2 c. bell pepper 2 boiled eggs 1/2 pkg. frozen green peas 3-4 pieces crisp bacon 1 1/2 c. mayonnaise or Miracle Whip 2 tbsp. sugar 1/4 c. milk Cheddar cheese Layer as follows in 13 x 9 inch casserole dish; lettuce in bite size pieces, finely chopped onions, chopped celery, chopped bell pepper, sliced boiled eggs, green peas and crumbled bacon. Mix together mayonnaise, sugar, and milk; pour over top of all layers and seal to edges. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese. Refrigerate at least 12 hours. |
