BAKED LIMA BEANS 
1 lb. dried lg. lima beans
1/2 lb. salt pork
1/2 c. molasses
1/2 c. ketchup
1 tbsp. mustard
1 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 med. onion, sliced
Salt & pepper to taste
1 tsp. baking soda

Wash beans and soak overnight. In morning add soda and bring quickly to boil. Pour off water and add fresh warm water. Bring to boil with scored pork. Boil slowly for 1/2 hour. Pour beans with water they were boiled in into bean pot or casserole. Add remaining ingredients. Put pork on top. Bake in slow oven, 300 degrees for 3-4 hours.
