DEER (BEEF) STEW CROCK POT 
3 to 4 lb. beef roast or venison roast
3 cans mushroom soup
4 potatoes (quartered)
6 carrots (1 inch size)
4 stalks celery
1 onion (sliced)

Brown roast on both sides in shortening. In crock pot put 1 can mushroom soup. Add potatoes, carrots, celery. Add another can of soup. Place roast on top and cover with onion. Add another can of soup. cover. Let cook overnight on low heat, or 8 hours on low heat.

Amount of potatoes, carrots and celery depends on size of pot and family. Delicious and easy.
