CHERRY DUMP CAKE 
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple, undrained
1 c. chopped pecans
1 stick butter, cut in thin slices
1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9 x 13-inch cake pan.

Dump pineapple into pan, spread evenly. Dump pie filling, spread evenly in a layer. Dump dry cake mix and spread evenly.

Sprinkle pecans over cake mix. Put butter over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes. Serve with Cool Whip or ice cream.
