CHOCOLATE MINT BROWNIES | |
CAKE LAYER: 1 c. flour 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. butter 4 eggs 1 1/2 c. (16 oz.) Hershey's syrup Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease rectangle pan (13 x 9 inch). Mix flour, sugar, butter and eggs with syrup until smooth. Pour into pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes (until top springs back when touched). Cool completely. Spread mint center on cake. Cover and chill. MINT CENTER: 2 c. powdered sugar 1 tsp. water 3 drops green food coloring 1/2 c. butter 3/4 tsp. mint extract In small bowl, combine all ingredients and beat until smooth. Pour chocolate topping over chilled dessert. Cover. Chill 1 hour. CHOCOLATE TOPPING: 6 tsp. butter 1 c. Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate chips In small saucepan over very low heat, melt butter and chocolate chips. Remove from heat, stir till smooth. Cool slightly before pouring it over the dessert. |
