PUFF PASTRY | |
1 stick butter 1 c. water 1 c. flour 4 eggs Melt butter in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir in flour vigorously. Add eggs, one at a time, stirring well. Spread in 2 strips on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. (Pastry will "collapse" after removed from oven.) When cool, drizzle thin powdered sugar icing over pastry. If desired, also top with jam. |
