FRUIT CAKE DROP COOKIES 
1 c. soft shortening
2 c. brown sugar (packed)
1/2 c. sour milk
2 eggs
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. broken pecans
2 c. candied fruit
1 c. raisins

Mix shortening, sugar, eggs. Stir in sour milk, nuts and fruit. Add flour mixture. Chill 1 hour. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Drop onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until almost no imprint remains when touched lightly.
