FRUIT FILLED COOKIE SHEET CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 - 2 jars or cans fruit filling

Cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add flour and baking powder. Press 1/2 batter into greased cookie sheet. Spread fruit filling over batter. Drop the remaining batter by spoonfuls over the filling covering the fruit.

Note: If you use a pastry bag you can make a lattice type cover instead.
