EARTHQUAKE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 1/2 c. shredded coconut
1 box German chocolate cake mix (prepare according to pkg. directions)
1/2 c. butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
4 c. powdered sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 9 x 13 inch pan. Combine pecans and coconut; sprinkle in bottom of pan. Pour prepared cake mix over pecan and coconut mixture. Melt butter and cream cheese together in saucepan. Add powdered sugar; mix well. Pour mixture over cake batter. Bake for 45 minutes or until cake tests done. Remove from oven. Cool and cut into squares. Yields 16 squares.
