OLD FASHIONED MOLASSES COOKIES 
2 c. sugar
3/4 c. molasses
1/3 c. water
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. lard or other shortening
4-5 c. flour
Salt
1/2 tsp. ginger

Make into loaf and set in refrigerator overnight. Roll and shape into cookies or just slice. Bake in moderate oven.
