KICK THE CAN ICE CREAM 
1 c. milk
1 c. whipping cream
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. ice cream salt
chopped ice

Clean empty 1 pound coffee can with lid. Clean empty 2 pound 7 ounce or 3 pound coffee can with lid. Mix milk, cream, sugar and vanilla in a one-pound can. Seal with plastic lid. Place the can inside the larger coffee can; pack with alternate layers of salt and ice. Seal with plastic lid and secure lid. With a partner, roll the can briskly on the sidewalk for about 10 minutes. Open the cans; stir the mixture with a spatula. The ice cream should be ready; if not, replace both lids and roll some more.
