FUDGE PIE | |
1 1/2 sq. (1 oz. ea.) unsweetened chocolate 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, sifted 1 tsp. vanilla Melt chocolate and butter together over low heat. In a bowl cream together sugar and eggs and then add flour and vanilla. Pour in chocolate mixture, mix well and put in a greased and floured pie plate. Bake at 325°F for 20 to 25 minutes. Test center, bake until toothpick comes out clean but don't overbake. Cool on rack. May be served warm or cold with ice cream and nuts or chocolate curls. Also good serves as is. This pie freezes beautifully. When cool, pie falls a bit, so don't panic. Submitted by: Paula Labbe |
