SANDWICH SPREAD | |
1 gal. green tomatoes 6 green peppers 3 red sweet peppers 3 hot peppers 1 stalk celery 1/2 c. salt Grind all vegetables and let set overnight. Drain by strainer. Add 1 quart vinegar and 2 cups sugar. Simmer 25 minutes. Drain again. Add 1 quart Miracle Whip and 1 (9 ounce) yellow mustard. Put into pints and seal and cook in hot water bath for 20 minutes. Yields 7 pints. |
