PEAR NUT CAKE 
2 eggs
1 1/4 c. oil
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3 c. grated pears
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. nuts
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Beat eggs; add sugar, oil and vanilla. Mix well; add flour, soda and salt and spices. Mix well. Stir in pears and nuts. Bake in 10x13 pan for 50 minutes to 1 hour at 350 degrees. Sprinkle with sifted powdered sugar upon removal from oven.
