MOLASSES OATMEAL DROP COOKIES 
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/3 c. molasses
1 3/4 c. sifted flour
1 c. raisins
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix shortening, sugar, eggs and molasses. Stir dry ingredients together and blend in. Stir in oatmeal, nuts and raisins. Drop by rounded teaspoonful on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned; cool on rack.
