This Oatmeal Molasses recipe was very good! Of course you want to cream the shortnin (butter), sugar, egg, and molasses first. I added about 1/4 cup more otmeal and also roolled balls in sugar before baking. Soft and chewy inside slightly crispy outside, very EASY recipe and even my two boys loved them and want more as it is a small recipe. THANKS!!!

I've been looking for a good go to oatmeal cookie recipe and this is it. So easy and good flavor and only makes about 2-3 dozen depending on the size you make the balls. I live alone so I make a dozen at a time and wrap the rest in wax paper and put in a freezer bag, and freeze for another time.
