MOLASSES OATMEAL COOKIES 
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup sugar
1 tbsp. molasses
1 tsp. salt

Mix above ingredients together until light and fluffy. Add 1 cup sifted self-rising flour and mix well. Then stir in: 1 cup rolled oats (not instant or quick cooking), 1/2 chopped nuts and 1/2 cup raisins.

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 375°F for 10-12 minutes. Remove to paper towels to cool.
