FRUIT COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter
4 eggs
1/2 c. whiskey or orange juice
3 tbsp. milk
1 1/2 lbs. candied cherries
1 1/2 lbs. candied pineapple
2 boxes white raisins
6 c. pecans
3 c. flour (all purpose)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. allspice
3 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, 1 at a time. Then add whiskey and milk (or juice). Sift dry ingredients. Cut fruit and nuts and mix in 1 cup of the flour. Combine egg mixture and nuts, etc. Drop scant teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 275 degrees for 15 minutes.
