FRUITCAKE COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. milk
3 c. plain flour
4-5 c. chopped pecans
3 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
6 slices candied pineapple (green)
2 c. candied red cherries
3/4 lb. raisins
6 oz. pkg. dates

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs; beat. Then add milk and dry ingredients. Save enough flour to coat fruit. Cut fruit into fine pieces. Mix batter and fruit. Drop by teaspoon. Bake at 300 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet, cool and store.
