ITALIAN COOKIES 
8 z. Maple Leaf flour
4 eggs
2 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
1/4 c. milk mixed with 1/4 c. water
3 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. honey
2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Optional: Chocolate chips or maraschino cherries

Mix dry ingredients together with Crisco. Make a well and put beaten eggs, milk and water, honey and flavoring into well and mix all together. Add chocolate chips or cherries. Let mixture stay overnight in refrigerator. Form balls out of dough (about 1 teaspoon each cookie). Bake at 375 degrees, ungreased cookie sheet for 12 minutes.
