BARBECUED SPARERIBS 
4 lb. country-style pork spareribs
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
1 clove garlic
1 1/2 c. catsup
1/2 tsp. black pepper
2 tbsp. bottled steak sauce
1 c. strained honey

Cut spareribs into serving size portions. Simmer in enough water to cover for 1/2 hour or almost tender. Mix the remaining ingredients and cook over low heat 5-7 minutes. Drain spareribs and place in shallow baking pan. Pour barbecue sauce over ribs and bake in 400 degree oven for 45 minutes or until meat is tender, baste occasionally.
