BUTTER CREAM CABBAGE 
1 1/4 lbs. grated cabbage (4 c.)
1 sm. can evaporated milk
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. finely crushed seasoned croutons (I like cheese and garlic croutons)
Salt and pepper to taste

Place cabbage in 1 1/2 quart casserole; salt to taste. Pour cream slowly over cabbage. Sprinkle crushed croutons evenly over cabbage and place chunks of butter over crumbs. Cover and bake 30 minutes in a preheated 350 degree oven. Uncover and bake 30 to 35 minutes more.
