THANKSGIVING DAY SALAD 
The flavors of this salad really tap into the comfort feelings you get from Thanksgiving dinner, only with a lighter, more healthy-for-you kind of way. A favorite of mine all year long!

romaine lettuce (or pre-sliced and washed romaine salad mix/caesar salad mixed greens)
Craisins (cranberry raisins, or dried cranberries)
sliced turkey (from the deli or leftovers)
croutons
crushed walnuts
shredded cheese, Monterey Jack, Cheddar or Swiss (optional)
balsamic vinaigrette dressing (or your favorite light oil-based dressing)
olives (optional)

Add ingredients together in a classic salad preparation and enjoy!
