ONE PAN CAKE 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. cooking oil
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. cold water

Sift dry ingredients into ungreased 8-inch pan. Make three depressions in flour mixture. Pour oil into one, vinegar in second and vanilla in third. Pour cold water over all. Stir well with fork until well blended. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 40 minutes. Cool in pan. Frost as desired. Yield: one 8 inch square cake.
