GERMAN OVEN PANCAKES 
3 eggs
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
4 strips bacon

Beat eggs, gradually add flour and salt, beating well after each addition. (Batter should be smooth.) Add milk and blend well. Stir in oil. Pour batter into buttered 9"x9" pan. Arrange bacon on top. Bake at 450 degrees for 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 10 minutes more. Serve immediately with maple syrup.
