STEW BEEF AND PEARS 
1 - 1 1/2 lbs. boneless stew for beef
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1 (16 oz.) can pear halves with juice
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon sugar
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Salt and pepper to taste

Marinate meat in pear mixture (soy sauce and pear halves with juice) for 4-8 hours. In skillet over medium high heat, brown meat in oil. Add marinade, pear halves. Then add ginger, cinnamon, sugar, nutmeg, salt and pepper. Heat thoroughly and serve over bed of warm rice.
