BARBECUE SAUCE 
1/2 c. onions, chopped
1/2 c. celery, chopped
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1/2 c. bell pepper, chopped
1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
3/4 tbsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 lemon
1 c. vinegar
1/2 tbsp. liquid smoke
1/4 c. butter
2 tbsp. hot chili powder
1 tbsp. lemon peel, grated
1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
1 bay leaf
1/3 c. tomato paste
1/8 c. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 qt. ketchup
1/2 qt. meat stock
1/4 c. water
1 tbsp. Accent

Mix all ingredients in large saucepan. Cook slowly one hour or until well blended. Use to baste spareribs, pork chops, meat balls, poultry or any meat while barbecuing. Spice up your next barbecue with this delectable sauce.
