1 box yellow cake mix 1 1/2 c. fresh or frozen or canned peaches, sliced thinly 2 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon GLAZE: 2 tbsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind 1 c. sour cream Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan. Prepare cake mix by directions. Spread batter in pan. Arrange peach slices in rows over cake. Mix sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over peaches. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. GLAZE: Blend sugar and lemon rind into sour cream. Spread over cake. Return cake to oven for 3-4 minutes. Cool and cut into squares. |
