OATMEAL COOKIES 
1 1/3 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 c. butter
2 c. flour
2 c. oatmeal

Add 1 teaspoon baking soda in flour.

Cream butter and brown sugar.

Add beaten eggs.

Then by hand, add other ingredients. Cool and roll out; medium to small cutter.

FILLING:

1 c. dates or raisins
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. water
2 tsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Cook until thick and smooth.

Spread between 2 cookies when ready to serve.
