QUICHE | |
2 c. cheddar cheese, shredded 2 tbsp. flour 1 c. milk 2 eggs, beaten 1/2 tsp. salt Dash of pepper 1 pkg. (10 oz.) choice of vegetable: broccoli (frozen works), spinach, etc. (fresh is best) 3 slices bacon, crumbled, or cooked ham bits 1 (9 inch) unbaked deep dish pie shell Green peppers, onions, mushrooms (optional) Cook vegetables and drain well on paper towels. Toss cheddar cheese with flour. Add vegetables, milk, eggs, meat, and seasonings. Mix well. Pour into pastry shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Makes 6 servings. |
