2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
3 eggs
2 1/2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 junior size jar baby prunes
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
Nuts (optional)

Mix all by hand. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, maybe longer.
