2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 can apple pie filling
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped dates
1/4 c. nuts
Whipped cream or topping

Combine first 6 ingredients. Combine next 4 and add to dry mixture; mix well. Stir in dates and nuts.

Pour into greased and floured 13 x 9 baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes; cool. Cut into squares and serve with whipped cream or topping.
